Meet The Northern Voices Team

Cate de Carteret

Cate de Carteret is a registered Music Therapist specialising in developing psychosocial skills through singing. She is also an accomplished singer, educator and band leader of toe-tapping rockabilly band The Fujiyama Mamas and brings 10 years experience in band leading and original composition.

Cate's bubbly personality and friendly teaching style puts even the most shy people at ease. 

  

Maryanne Dihayco

Maryanne Dihayco is a contemporary vocalist, educator and choir director with a degree in Music from the Victorian College of the Arts, and has performed all over Melbourne over the last decade. She is an accopmlished composer and arranger, with her debut album 'Freefall' garnering praise from listeners in Australia and the US.

Maryanne is a passionate choir director and loves to bring people together and bring the best out of people's voices.

Northern Voices Choir acknowledges the Traditional owners of this land, The Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nations. We pay respect to their Elders past, present and future.
